Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to students from various local and international schools.

Job Scope

Teaching & Tutoring :

Conduct engaging one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions for students of various age groups.

Customise lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students, focusing on improving their grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills, and oral communication.

Provide targeted lessons for students from local government schools (KET, PET, PSLE) and international schools (IGCSE, IB, etc.) , ensuring they are well-prepared for their respective examinations.

Curriculum Development :

Design and refine lesson materials to align with Singapore's MOE syllabus and other international school curricula.

Create innovative teaching resources, including lecture notes, practice questions, and mock exams, to enhance learning effectiveness.

Requirements

Education & Experience :

Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience in English, with a strong preference for experience at a tuition centre.

Proven experience teaching and managing younger students is highly valued.

Professional Skills & Attributes :

Deep understanding of the local Singapore curriculum (KET, PET, PSLE O-Level) and international school curricula (IGCSE, IB) .

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Proven ability in curriculum design and the development of educational materials.

Others :

A strong passion for education, with a high degree of responsibility and professionalism.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
