Roles & Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design and prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates for projects.
- Develop drawings, models, and other design documents.
- Interact with clients through meetings and presentations.
- Foster communication and coordination among team members and external consultants.
- Lead and monitor the architectural design team.
- Manage project budgets and client consultant relations.
- Coordinate with the technical team and prepare reports.
- Present design projects for review and make recommendations.
- Select materials and liaise with suppliers.
- Prepare performance specs and technical documentation.
- Organize client and technical meetings, recording minutes and action items.
- Maintain organized project records and contribute to team efforts.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure compliance with architectural standards.
Qualities & Skills Required :
Essential :
BArch / MArch or equivalent; architectural license preferred.Fluent in English; Mandarin is a plus.5+ years in architectural practice with experience in large-scale projects.Knowledge of project processes, fee management, and budgeting.Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficient in various design media and software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe CS).Desirable :
Experience in design, construction, and project management.Understanding of project coordination and financial management.Ability to mentor junior architects.Willingness to travel as needed.Tell employers what skills you have
