OVERALL JOB DESCRIPTION
To execute all related SCM & procurement activities and operations ranging from sourcing, negotiation, quality assurance, vendor qualification & audit to receiving & delivery.
Responsibilities & Duties
To perform procurement activities for fabricated parts & to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Fabricated parts including welded hollow section structures, aluminium profile structures, sheet metal parts, plastic & metal precision & semi precision parts.
To establish proactive and positive long-term partnership with quality & key vendors to achieve ultimate quality & cost savings.
To be a team player & collaborate with cross-functional in-house teams to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
To update & maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and other relevant documents via the In-house SCM inventory systems.
To stay relevant & resourceful in the selection & qualifying of new suppliers and vendor-supplier management.
N.B. Relevent working experience with fabricated parts procurement is an added advantage.
