Job description10-20 years of experience in system administration or a related field. Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems. Proficient in scripting languages such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python. Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP). Experience with backup and recovery solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Description
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and optimizing our IT infrastructure, ensuring system reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain system performance and security.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems and software applications.
- Monitor system performance and implement performance tuning as necessary.
- Ensure data backup and recovery processes are in place and functioning correctly.
- Provide technical support to team members and end-users as needed.
- Document system configurations, updates, and procedures for reference.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve overall system reliability and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices in system administration.
