Job Description

Our client, a listed Japanese financial company, is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President or Vice President to join their team. This position focuses on relationship management, with an emphasis on maintaining and accelerating client transactions.

The role reports directly to the Director.

Responsibilities】

  • Strengthen and enhance relationships with existing clients.
  • Hear the voice of the MD about their company's difficulties, either regarding HR, Finance, Products, or Information.
  • Develop and propose strategic approaches to leverage customer potential.
  • If there is no solution to propose internally, ask for allegiance with other external parties
  • Manage sector P&L, create client portfolios, and plan account strategies.
  • Handle credit risk assessments, arrange credit facilities, and oversee client transactions.
  • Collaborate with internal divisions, departments, and global branches to deliver a variety of financial solutions tailored to client needs.

Requirements & Preferences 】

Must)

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 8 to 10 years of working experience in Sales / Relationship Manager / Consultant in finance, including M&A or any professional firm.
  • Proficient in Japanese (JLPT N1) for speaking, listening, and writing to effectively communicate with Japanese clients.
  • Willing and able to travel annually to regions such as Southeast Asia, India, Oceania, and Japan for business trips lasting 4–5 days.

  • Knowledge of securities and asset management products.
