Cloud Solution Architect – Cloud & AI Apps
Microsoft invites you to join the Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, part of Customer Experience & Success, to enable customers on the Microsoft Cloud through AI‑powered capabilities and human expertise.
In this customer‑facing role you will help clients design, build, and operate AI‑powered applications at production scale on Azure. You will lead technical engagements across design, development, and operations, accelerate adoption of Azure AI, App Services, GitHub, and data platforms, and drive delivery excellence and consumption growth.
This role is flexible; you can work up to 50% from home.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customer IT and business leaders to understand application, data, and AI priorities, and design secure, scalable solutions that drive business value.
- Lead technical engagements around architecture design, proof of concepts (POCs), and minimum viable products (MVPs) to accelerate Azure AI and related services adoption.
- Own end‑to‑end technical delivery, ensuring completeness and accuracy of consumption and customer success plans in collaboration with CSAM.
- Generate incremental pipeline and next‑best actions per engagement, aligning with Unified Enterprise Support priorities.
- Deliver repeatable intellectual property (IP) and contribute to centralized IP development to accelerate deployment and achieve targeted outcomes.
- Provide delivery oversight and escalation support for key Factory engagements across AI and App Innovation projects.
- Lead the health, resiliency, security, and optimization of mission‑critical workloads for production‑scale AI use cases.
- Act as Voice of the Customer by sharing insights and feedback with engineering teams to eliminate adoption blockers.
- Support customer skilling through technical workshops, readiness activities, and recommendations to ensure solution performance, maintainability, and reliability.
- Maintain deep technical expertise in Azure, AI, GitHub, and cloud‑native development trends, and contribute to technical communities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field and 4+ years of experience in cloud / infrastructure technologies, IT consulting / support, systems administration, network operations, software development / support, or related architecture roles.Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise‑grade, cloud‑native solutions with AI capabilities, preferably using Azure.Experience implementing cloud‑native applications in Python or .NET with generative AI capabilities.Professional‑level fluency in Korean (required).Proficiency in English (spoken and written).Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of experience in cloud / infrastructure technologies and related consulting or architecture roles (or equivalent).Master’s degree in a related field and at least 6 years of experience (or equivalent).4+ years of customer‑facing experience.Hands‑on experience with Proof of Concepts or Minimum Viable Products using Copilot Studio or Microsoft Teams Extensibility.Passion for AI‑first software development environments such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code.Broad technical experience in cloud solutions, security, infrastructure, network design, data analytics, and big data processing.Cloud certification (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, or security certifications).Microsoft is an equal opportunity employer.
