Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities :

• Ensure reliability and usability of plant equipment and systems.
• Review and plan electrical equipment replacement schedules.
• Conduct root cause analysis for complex equipment breakdowns and prepare reports.
• Recommend modifications for equipment improvements.
• Manage and schedule electrical-related equipment SDM tasks.
• Respond to urgent breakdown incidents and support troubleshooting activities.
• Drive energy efficiency by optimizing energy consumption.
• Review and develop SOPs for electrical-related operations.
• Monitor and ensure plant compliance with electrical safety regulations, standards, and practices.
• Oversee yearly sub-station shutdown preventive maintenance.
• Manage electrical inventory updates.
• Review, prepare, and provide inputs for risk assessments.
• Evaluate effectiveness of maintenance strategies and identify areas for cost reduction.
• Supervise and manage contractors’ work, including cost negotiation and report review.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and milestones to ensure timely and quality delivery.
• Review vendor contracts and conduct service performance audits.
• Liaise with HQ technical teams for process improvement and equipment-related issues.
