Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities :
- Ensure reliability and usability of plant equipment and systems.
- Review and plan electrical equipment replacement schedules.
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex equipment breakdowns and prepare reports.
- Recommend modifications for equipment improvements.
- Manage and schedule electrical-related equipment SDM tasks.
- Respond to urgent breakdown incidents and support troubleshooting activities.
- Drive energy efficiency by optimizing energy consumption.
- Review and develop SOPs for electrical-related operations.
- Monitor and ensure plant compliance with electrical safety regulations, standards, and practices.
- Oversee yearly sub-station shutdown preventive maintenance.
- Manage electrical inventory updates.
- Review, prepare, and provide inputs for risk assessments.
- Evaluate effectiveness of maintenance strategies and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Supervise and manage contractors’ work, including cost negotiation and report review.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, and milestones to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Review vendor contracts and conduct service performance audits.
- Liaise with HQ technical teams for process improvement and equipment-related issues.
