Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose :

1) Crane Boom Repairs.

2) Repair / Fabrication of heavy and large mechanical products as per

drawing / specifications and in accordance with our production schedule.

Responsibilities :

  • Cut, shape, and heat metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
  • Weld metal objects using gas torch or arc welder.
  • Perform simple maintenance on welding tools.
  • Assemble parts and structures by lining up and joining them by welding,

bolting or riveting

  • Support other workshop activities as required
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Company

    • Qualifications :

  • Minimum GCE ‘N’ Level or equivalent
  • Welder Course Certification (BCA Approved)

    • Experience / Proficiency :

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 6 months in Heavy Industries
  • Knowledge of welding skill for different kind of materials
  • Same Industry experience is preferred
  • Experience in Shipyard / Oilfield Industry will be added advantage

    • Competency :

  • Good safety awareness.
  • Able to work independently as well in team
