Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized law school in Singapore.
  • 3 years PQE, preferably in a multinational corporation or international law firm.
  • Expertise in corporate and contract law, including drafting and negotiation.
  • Experience with cross-border commercial transactions is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in both verbal and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to simplify complex legal information.

Responsibilities :

  • General Legal Support : Assist the Head of Legal in managing all legal matters within the Group. Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including business development, HR, marketing, and finance.
  • Contract Management : Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including cross-border commercial contracts with suppliers, licensing agreements, service agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
  • Research & Advice : Conduct legal research and provide business stakeholders with advice on a broad spectrum of legal and compliance issues, such as data privacy, intellectual property, platform liability, labor laws, contract and consumer protection laws, and corporate laws.
  • Regulatory Compliance : Monitor and interpret relevant laws and regulations affecting the Group’s business. Liaise with regulatory bodies, represent the company in regulatory matters, and keep updated on legislative and regulatory developments, advising on their implications for the Group’s business.
  • Corporate Governance : Support day-to-day corporate governance, including managing corporate resolutions, mandatory filings, and liaising with external parties on KYC matters.
