Deloitte's Indirect Tax group is a market
leader in providing high quality, value added guidance on indirect
tax related matters to businesses in Singapore, Southeast Asia and
around the world. The Financial Services Indirect Tax team operates
within the broader indirect tax group and supports clients across
the sector, including Banking & Capital Markets, Investment
Management, Insurance, Real Estate as well as emerging areas such
as digital assets, fintech and carbon credit
trading.
Within the Indirect Tax Group, the
Financial Services Indirect Tax Team operates within the wider SEA
T&L Financial Services Group serving clients across the sectors
of Banking & Capital Markets, Investment Management, Insurance,
Real Estate, as well as emerging areas such as digital assets,
fintech, and carbon credit

Work you'll
do
The successful candidate will
provide GST advisory and compliance services to our clients and
work in a growing team dealing with a challenging area of tax, as
well as managing issues ranging from routine compliance matters to
complex cross-border transactions. This role will include managing
client engagements, with direct reporting to Senior Managers,
Directors, Partners and provide tailored technical advice to
clients on transactions, performing ASK / ACAP reviews, mentoring
and developing junior staff, building internal and external
relationships
Provide Indirect Tax
advisory and compliance services to clients, ensuring effective
navigation of GST-related matters in the Financial services
industry
Work within a growing team, tackling
the challenges of the dynamic indirect tax landscape
Manage a diverse range of issues, from routine compliance
tasks to complex cross-border transactions
Perform other tasks as assigned, contributing to the
overall success and development of the
team

Requirements
At least 6 years of Singapore GST advisory experience
within an international accounting firm, as part of an in-house tax
team or IRAS
Previous Financial Services GST
experience will be an advantage
Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance, Law or other business-related field.
An accreditation with SCTP would be an added advantage
Ability to work under tight
deadlines
