Responsibilities) :

Responsible for the technical performance of projects

assigned

Assist the team leader to maintain

and develop the Company's client base by winning clients'

satisfaction and trust during the performance of assigned

projects

Assist in preparation of proposals

for potential projects

Assist the team leader

and work closely with members within the Function Group in relation

to the following activities :

Project programming, implementation, review, monitoring

and management

Preparation of disciplinary

system designs and reports

Demonstrate leadership and enthusiasm to staff within the

team and motivate those staff to achieve the performance expected

of the Function Group

Assist Function Group

Leader, Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer, working closely

with the regional management team and Sector Director, to broaden

and strengthen AIS' reputation

Carry out

duties and functions as directed by the Function Group Leader not

specified above

Specific

Work closely with Project Manager to prepare action

plans, including resources, timeframes and budget for the

project

Coordinate with the client,

sub-consultant and design team to :

• Attend meetings

Assist in liaison

with QP(D) and QP(S)

Assist in liaison with

various government authorities

Assist in

liaison with the Public Utilities Board & Superintendent

Officer

Perform various

coordinating tasks like schedule, risk managements along with

administrative duties like maintaining project documentation,

report writing and handling project queries

Ensure that client's needs are met as the project

evolves

Undertake some minor hydraulic

designs

Support the business development and

pursuits in the Water and Infrastructure projects

Assists in other ad hoc duties as

assigned

Requirements & Person Specification (Qualifications,

Experience, Skills &

Senior

Resident Engineer

Experience with HDB BTO projects / construction

industry

An engineering degree in the

appropriate discipline

Experience in project

management from conception to delivery

An

ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts, schedules and step by

step action plans

Professional and confident

approach to working relationships. Team orientated with the ability

to build strong working relationships with colleagues and

peers

Self-motivated and able to work

independently when required.

Strong

communication, interpersonal, supervisory and client management

skills

Solid organisation skills including

multitasking and time-management

Demonstrated

good presentation and reporting

skills
