JobDescription :

  • Conducting physical assessmentsof clients and developing or following a treatment plan.
  • Assessing the home and work environments of clients and decidingwhat adjustments are needed.
  • Document client progress,therapy sessions, and treatment plans accurately and timely inaccordance with organizational and legal requirements.
  • Prepare reports for clients, families, and relevant partiesregarding progress and therapy recommendations.
  • Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical knowledge and reasoning,critical thinking, judgment and decision-making in the provision ofcare.
  • Assume leadership in projects related to clinicalinitiatives.
  • Development of new program / product for thebenefit of clients in relation to care management and occupationaltherapy.
  • Spearhead the establishment of evidence-basedpractices, including the development of guidelines, procedures, andthe implementation of appropriate equipment.
  • Providesupervision in care management and occupational therapy.
  • Integrate guidelines, programs, work safety measures, and bestpractices for comprehensive healthcare delivery.
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver training programs for staffs,caregivers, or clients on topics such as care therapy, mobility,daily living skills, safety strategies, and therapeutictechniques.
  • Conduct workshops and seminars to raiseawareness and build skills related to rehabilitation, assistivetechnology, and accessibility.
  • Provide hands-on trainingand practical demonstrations to enhance understanding andimplementation of therapy-basedinterventions.

JobRequirements :

  • A recognized Diploma / Degree inOccupational Therapy.
  • Full registration with the AlliedHealth Professions Council (AHPC).
  • More than 5 years ofexperience as an Occupational Physiotherapist, preferably in acommunity setting
  • Experience in projectmanagement.
  • Proven experience as an occupationaltherapist, with a focus on diverse client needs (e.g., physicalrehabilitation, cognitive therapy, geriatrics, mentalhealth).
  • Previous experience in training or education,with the ability to present complex information in an accessibleand engaging manner.
  • Strong interpersonal andcommunication skills, with the ability to interact effectively withclients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Abilityto design, implement, and evaluate training programs andworkshops.
  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for helpingindividuals achieve independence.
  • Experience withassistive technology and adaptive equipment.
  • Proficiencyin Mandarin or dialects is an added advantage to communicate withMandarin-speaking clients.
  • Travel may be required forhome visits or off-site trainingsessions.
  • Compensation :

  • No shift work
  • Working days : 5.5 days workweek
  • Working hours : 9am to 6pm (Weekdays) and 9am-1pm(Saturday).
