Job description

Our client is an established M&E Engineering company in Singapore. They are looking for a Construction Manager to assess all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to on-site supervision and ensure compliance with regulations. They manage the project's schedule, budget, and resources, coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver a completed building on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Developing detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring the project stays on track.
  • Managing and coordinating all construction activities, including supervising subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other professionals.
  • Ensuring that construction work meets all relevant standards and regulations, including safety and building codes.
  • Managing resources such as labour, materials, and equipment, ensuring they are available when needed.
  • Monitoring project costs, identifying potential cost overruns, and negotiating with subcontractors to stay within budget.
  • Maintaining clear communication with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Addressing any issues or deviations that arise on-site, ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Preparing reports on project progress, costs, and other relevant information.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment for all personnel.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably large-scale building projects (Data Centre, Medical Centre, Mixed-Development & / or Commercial building).
  • Experienced working as a Construction Manager and / or Project Manager handle site.
  • Experienced and strong in site management and people management.
  • Good communication skills.
