Job Description
The Outreach Executive plays a key role in expanding the museum's reach and generating revenue through group bookings and institutional partnerships. This position is responsible for promoting the museum's programmes, guided tours, special exhibitions, and events to schools, corporate organisations, tour agencies, and other community groups—ultimately driving audience development and encouraging new and repeat visitation.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Identify and connect with schools, corporate organisations, tour agencies, and other community partners to introduce and promote museum programmes, tours, special exhibitions and events.
Build and maintain relationships through regular communication to encourage repeat visits and continued engagement.
Proactively promote museum programmes, tours, and special exhibitions to schools, corporate organisations, tour agencies, and other community partners.
Follow up on leads, convert interest into bookings, and achieve outreach sales targets.
Maintain outreach-related records, including contact databases, booking history, and feedback.
Secondary Duties & Responsibilities
Work with marketing to shape messages that suit outreach targets and include clear calls to action.
Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. operations, finance, visitor services) to hand over group booking requests, invoicing matters, and post-visit feedback collection.
Assist in preparing outreach-related materials such as proposals or presentation decks to support engagement efforts.
Prepare monthly reports on outreach progress, booking numbers, and partnership outcomes.
