Roles & Responsibilities

Well Established Company
Basic $5,500 - $ 13,000 + Variable Bonus
Working location : Tampines
Working days : Monday - Friday
Working hours : 9.00am - 6.00pm

Key Responsibilities :

1. System & Product Development

Lead definition and documentation of system and software requirements (SRS / SRSW), ensuring alignment with ISO 3691-4 and relevant healthcare robotics standards.

Define system architecture across core AMR subsystems : control, perception, localization, navigation, and HMI.

Collaborate across engineering disciplines to design modular, fault-tolerant, high-availability systems.

2. Risk & Compliance Management

Perform risk assessments and FMEA in accordance with ISO 14971.

Develop safety concepts for autonomous operation in human environments (per ISO 3691-4).

Ensure traceability of safety and risk controls throughout the product lifecycle.

Testing & Verification

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, covering unit, integration, verification, validation, and field testing.

Oversee testing for navigation accuracy, safety zones, and fault conditions per ISO 3691-4.

3. Documentation & Release

Lead the creation of user and maintenance manuals, troubleshooting guides, and compliance documentation.

Maintain controlled documentation under ISO 9001 standards.

4. Commercial & Customer Support

Support tender submissions, product specs, and compliance documentation.

Collaborate with sales and tender teams for technical input and customer presentations.

Assist with product demos and technical clarifications during procurement phases.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Robotics, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline (PhD a plus).

7+ years in robotic product development; 3+ years with mobile / AMR systems。

Strong knowledge of ISO 3691-4 or equivalent functional safety standards.

Experience in requirements management, architecture, and risk assessment in regulated environments.

Proficient in tools such as DOORS, Jama, ROS / Gazebo, CAD, MATLAB / Simulink.

Experience with AGVs / AMRs using SLAM, LiDAR, vision systems, and autonomous navigation stacks.

Understanding of cybersecurity and interoperability standards in clinical IT (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
