About Our Client

Our client is a fintech unicorn with multiple business verticals on their platform and is aiming to transform the trading and investing experience for investors in Southeast Asia.

Job Description

Lead the design and implementation of all operational frameworks and processes to support retail brokerage activities (e.g., trade execution, settlement, reconciliation, client onboarding, KYC / AML, etc.).

Drive the MAS licensing process in close partnership with compliance and legal teams.

Oversee day-to-day operational risk controls, systems, and workflows to ensure full regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to define the operations strategy and support business scaling across Singapore and the region.

Partner with technology, product, and customer support teams to implement tools and platforms that enable seamless brokerage operations.

Establish and manage vendor relationships with third-party providers (e.g., custodians, clearing partners, KYC / AML solution providers).

Hire, develop, and manage the operations team as the business grows regionally.

The Successful Applicant

Proven experience (at least 8-10 years) in operations within a retail brokerage or securities trading environment, ideally with involvement in a new setup or early-stage buildout.

Strong understanding of MAS regulatory expectations, including capital markets licensing, trade processing, and operational risk controls.

Familiarity with front-to-back brokerage operations, including onboarding, settlements, reconciliations, and corporate actions.

Track record of working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with the ability to build and scale processes from the ground up.

Excellent leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
