Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Service Operations Manager; step in during their absence.
  • Assist in preparing staff schedules aligned with budgets and service standards.
  • Contribute to monthly financial targets through forecasting, cost control, and action planning.
  • Stay updated on company policies, local regulations, and industry trends.
  • Represent the department in F&B meetings and inter-departmental sessions.
  • Facilitate training programs and identify staff development needs.
  • Lead daily briefings and monthly team meetings to ensure communication and cohesion.
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures.
  • Monitor staff grooming, hygiene, and performance.
  • Collaborate with the Chef on menu briefings, food quality, and presentation.
  • Work with other departments to resolve service issues swiftly.
  • Maintain updated and presentable menus (food, beverage, wine, dessert).
  • Oversee flower arrangements, trolleys, and displays.
  • Welcome and engage guests warmly, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
