Join Avorush's kitchen team and work alongside our founder to learn amazing recipes and menus. You'll help run daily kitchen operations, maintain high food standards, and grow your culinary skills in a supportive, no-late-nights environment.

Born from the idea of "Avocado + Rush," we blend nutrition expertise with culinary art to serve fast-paced lifestyles. Our all-day menu features wholesome grab-and-go meals and specialty lunch bowls inspired by Mediterranean and Mexican flavours.

Job Description

Join Avorush's team as an Assistant Chef!

You'll support daily kitchen operations, maintain food quality and hygiene standards, and help ensure smooth service in our fast-paced CBD restaurant.

Responsibilities

Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes.

Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation.

Support management in daily kitchen operations and workflow coordination.

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to SFA food hygiene standards.

Monitor inventory, handle stock rotation, and assist in supplier ordering.

Contribute ideas for improving efficiency and new menu items.

Work closely with the team to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant kitchen experience preferred, but we provide full training for the right candidate.

Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety procedures.

Team player with good communication and time management skills.

Positive attitude, reliable, and able to work efficiently under pressure.

Passion for healthy food and wholesome cooking.

Working Conditions

Employment Type : Full-Time

Working Hours :

Sunday (Preparation for Monday); timing to be determined (4.5hr)

Monday to Thursday, 6 : 30 AM – 4.30 PM (9hr + 1hr Break)

Friday 6.30am – 11.00am (4.5hr)

Gross Salary :

$2,300 – $2,800 / month

Working Hours per Week :

45 hours

Overtime :

Paid where applicable

Start Date : Immediate
