x2 (Culinary) F&B Service Assistant Supervisor - Joo Koon, Sembawang - Islandwide, SG

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned to meet the standard and the quality set by the company
• Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
• Asist to supervise line cook or commis, as required
• Ensure minimization of food wastage
• Assist in audit in monthly inventory checks
• Initiate improvement activities across workstations and ensure all staff adhere to workplace safety.
• Assist in the investigation of foreign objects if required
• Ensure all food handling adheres to Standard Operating Procedure
• Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
• Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
• Initiate new menu items, improvising menu from time to time
• Attend customer enquiries if required
• Partake in investigations if required by FSE or other government bodies
• Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
• Follow good preservation standards for proper handling of all food products at right temperature
• Ensure timely tracking, recording and replenishing of inventory as needed
• Suggest and initiate improvement activities across workstations
• Check expiry dates and proper storage of food items in the section
