Roles & Responsibilities

Junior Cook (Back Kitchen – Japanese Fine Dining)

Salary : $2,500 – $3,000 (depending on experience)

Location : Central Singapore

Work Week : 6 days, capped at 44 hours per week

We are hiring a Junior Cook to join our back kitchen team at our Japanese fine dining restaurant. This role is ideal for someone passionate about Japanese cuisine and eager to learn and grow in a professional kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Ensure kitchen hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
  • Support smooth operations during lunch and dinner service.
  • Learn and apply Japanese culinary techniques.

Requirements

  • Some prior kitchen experience preferred (training will be provided).
  • Passion for Japanese cuisine and willingness to learn.
  • Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Able to commit to shift work within a 6-day roster.
  • Working Hours & Benefits

  • 6 days work week, capped at 44 hours.
  • Operation hours :

    Lunch : Tue–Sat, 12pm–3pm

    Dinner : Mon–Sat, 6pm–10 : 30pm
