• Responsible for skilful, timely, accurate and sufficient collection of blood specimens from patients as required for clinical tests, using various techniques such as venipuncture, capillary collection and / or heel pricks.
• Perform phlebotomy and ECG in an accurate, efficient and professional way.
• Ensure specimen identification, accession, processing and storing of test specimens are consistent with good laboratory practice.
• Verify and validate all test results, identify discrepancies and perform necessary corrective actions.
• Provide clinicians with timely, quality accurate and reliable test results.
• Ensure proper documentation for traceability and adherence to good documentation practices.
• Ensure machine is in good working condition and well maintained.
• Prepare equipment, analyzers, reagents, controls and calibration materials as required.
