Network Operations Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

• Take part in production network and internet peering strategies
• Verse with networking technologies relative to content delivery network, monitoring capacity and peering traffic.
• Perform Day-to-day activities involve working on multiple vendor servers and various software and hardware issues
• Work with multiple TAC vendors to fix the hardware issues
• Handle traffic and any other queries raised by ISP / partners
• Capable of driving the first level of Escalations reported by the team.
• Capability to prepare both Technical and Process MOP and circulating with other Team Leads.
• Support team in handling network and traffic peering for any Layer 2 to Layer 3 issues.
• Capability to drive data insights and report them on and as required.
• Participating in multiple meetings and providing weekly presentations related to Network Performance and Escalations.
• Work with ISP / vendors on fixing any issues related to network
• Jointly working with the Regional and Other region Team Leads.
• Provide 24 / 7 support with other teams across the globe. Some weekend work may be required with weekdays off.
• Other ad-hoc duties.
