You will be a part of HPB’s School Dental Service, which strives to provide oral health care services to school-going children to ensure good oral health and dental fitness.

[What you will be working on]

As a key member of the School Dental Service team, you will be setting a foundation for oral health in school-going children by providing dental examinations and diagnosis, educational talks and managing the mobile dental clinic.

You’ll also be focusing on the cleaning, scaling and polishing of teeth, application of fissure sealants, restorations of permanent and primary teeth and extractions of primary teeth under local anesthetic.

And last but not the least, you’ll be in charge of tracking and updating pupils’ clinical records and setting the standards of customer service.

[What we are looking for]

Join us if you are a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a Diploma in Oral Health that can be registered with the Singapore Dental Council. You should also possess:

a) Proficiency in clinical skills

b) Effective social and communication skills

c) Effective time management, planning and organisational skills

d) Ability to establish close rapport with children, parents and school staff

e) Ability to work independently and in a team

In addition, having relevant knowledge in IT applications and skills will be an added advantage.

Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for emplacement/renewal subject to meeting criteria.
