Research Fellow

We are looking for highly motivated individual who have a

strong desire and passion to search for and validate novel

molecular targets, biomarkers and therapeutic pre-drugs in multiple

in vitro and in vivo disease models against neurodegeneration in

Parkinson's disease and other human neurodegenerative disorder in

our Translational Therapeutics Laboratory of National Neuroscience

Institute of Singapore.

The successful candidate

will be recruited to perform challenging and interesting molecular

and cellular translational neuroscience research on human

neurodegenerative

diseases.

Requirements :

Doctorate's degree in medicine or Life Sciences with wet

laboratory experience, majoring in Genetics / Biochemistry &

Cellular Biology / Pharmacology or related discipline.

Previous experience with stem cell biology,

transcriptional factors and gene expression modulations,

protein-protein interactions, C elegan models, gene edition and

bioinformatics data analysis would be added advantages.

Able to work independently on experimental design,

innovative and scientific thinking, multiple task and manuscripts

composition.

Able to perform effective,

versatile techniques and experiences on handling proteins, nucleic

acids, neuronal and stem cells, C elegan.

Able

to communicate effectively with all levels, proactive and team

player.
