Construction Project Manager
Salary range – S$6,500.00 to S$8,500.00
Job Description – Construction Project Manager
Responsibilities
- To be responsible for the smooth completion of the assigned project, in terms of both administrative and operational aspects
- To attend site meetings with the Main-Contractor and / or Sub-Contractor(s) whenever necessary with regards to any site issues, and to update our own construction team
- To make sure site work progress follows the Schedule given by the Main-Contractor
- To work closely with main-office staff to prepare monthly Progress Claims, Payment Certificates, or the like.
- Prepare Minutes of Meetings for all joint meetings held with Main-Contractors, Sub-Contractors, or site personnel.
- To advise both Main-Contractor and Sub-Contractor personnel on technical knowledge pertaining to site works (E.g. Reference lines, datum lines, etc).
- To study shop-drawings and make sure the project team has the latest set
- To manage and review Sub-Contractor(s) and their monthly performance.
- To prepare Method of Statement as and when necessary, for specific works.
- To manage and account for all materials & equipment delivered to site
- To prepare and manage worker Organizational Chart for both the Company’s workers and Supply Worker alike.
- To prepare and manage site Tools List. Any material or tools left on site premises must be accounted for at all times.
- To manage workers’ time cards. Must make sure workers, especially supply workers, do not work unnecessary overtime. Any overtime works must be first approved by the Managing Director before commencement.
- To prepare and manage the site tools sign-in / out list.
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by the Managing Director.
Requirements
Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or similar courseHas at least 5 years of experience in Singapore in the related fieldHas experience working for LTA projects / high-rise buildingsAble to read and understand construction drawingsMust have good interpersonal / social skills to explain, communicate, liaise, negotiate with the Managing Director, own construction team, main-contractors and / or subcontractorsExpectations
