Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Project and site management : Supervise, coordinate, and manage all tiling and plastering activities performed by subcontractors and site workers.
• Quality control : Inspect and ensure that all materials used and work performed meet the project's specifications and quality standards. This includes checking surface preparation, tile alignment, plaster consistency, and finishing.
• Schedule management : Create and monitor daily and weekly work schedules to ensure targets are met and that the tiling and plastering phases align with the overall project timeline.
• Technical guidance : Interpret technical drawings and specifications, provide technical advice to site staff, and resolve any on-site issues related to tiling and plastering.
• Resource and material management : Organize and requisition materials and tools, manage material storage, and ensure efficient use of resources to minimize waste and costs.
• Safety and compliance : Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations and that the workforce uses proper safety equipment.
• Documentation and reporting : Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, including site logs and quality assurance reports, for the Project Manager.
• Liaison : Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and address any issues.
