MISSION

The specialised teacher coordinates inclusive education at the secondary level.
As a key contributor to the school’s inclusion strategy, he/she ensures alignment between pedagogical, administrative, and human dimensions to guarantee the success of students with special educational needs.

He/she develops specialised support practices closely tailored to each student’s needs and difficulties. Through careful observation, attentive listening, and teamwork with teaching and educational staff, the role focuses on understanding, supporting, and guiding each student.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement, lead, and monitor PPREs (Personalised Educational Success Programmes) and contribute to the development and follow-up of PAP, PPS, or PAI plans.

  • Support students with special educational needs within the GAIN framework (Guidance and Inclusion Support Group) through individual or small-group work.

  • Monitor all student files in collaboration with GAIN members and the Academic Leadership team.

  • Organise educational team meetings and participate in safeguarding/monitoring meetings with Academic Leadership.

  • Support teachers in analysing identified learning difficulties and designing appropriate responses.

  • Guide teachers toward differentiated classroom practices (resource person role).

  • Assist teachers in designing and implementing assessment methods adapted to the competencies and challenges of students with special needs.

  • Facilitate students’ social integration within the school.

  • Welcome, inform, and meet with parents (key point of contact).

  • Ensure continuity of support during the transition into Year 7 (6ème) to prevent disruption in care.

  • Maintain links with external professionals.

  • Use information and communication technologies to support learning.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Qualified teacher within the French National Education system or equivalent, preferably.

  • Additional certification such as 2CA-SH or CAPPEI is an advantage.

  • Experience in adapted teaching for students with disabilities.

  • Experience at secondary level, including RASED, ULIS, or SEGPA settings, required.

  • Knowledge of the French education system and support frameworks for disabilities and significant, persistent learning difficulties.

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.

  • Responsiveness and availability.

  • Adaptability and a caring approach.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong ability to work collaboratively and contribute to projects.

  • Proficiency with digital tools.

  • Ability to adapt to non-French-speaking students.

  • Ability to deliver differentiated teaching to highly diverse learners.

  • Capacity for cross-disciplinary and transversal collaboration.

  • Good command of English (B1 level or above) desirable.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Full-time position: 27 hours per week.

  • Salary based on qualifications, experience, and the IFS salary scale.

    MISSION

    L’enseignant-e spécialsé-e coordonne l’inclusion scolaire au secondaire. Vecteur de la stratégie d'inclusion de l'établissement, il/elle assure le lien entre les dimensions pédagogiques, administratives et humaines pour garantir la réussite des élèves à besoins particuliers. Il/elle développe des pratiques d'aide spécialisée au plus près des besoins de l'élève et de ses difficultés. C'est d'abord par une observation, une écoute attentive et du travail en équipe avec les équipes enseignantes et éducatives qu'il/elle tente de mieux connaître l’élève, le comprendre et l’accompagner.

    RESPONSABILITÉS

    • Mettre en place, piloter et suivre les PPRE (Programme Personnalisé de Réussite Éducative) et contribuer à l’élaboration et aux suivi des PAP, PPS ou PAI.

    • Aider, dans le cadre du dispositif GAIN (Groupe d'Accompagnement et d’Inclusion), les élèves à besoins éducatifs particuliers par un travail en individuel ou en petits groupes.

    • Suivre, avec les membres du GAIN et la Direction pédagogique, l’ensemble des dossiers de ces élèves.

    • Organiser les réunions des équipes éducatives et participer aux réunions de cellule de veille avec la Direction pédagogique.

    • Aider les enseignants pour l'analyse des difficultés repérées et pour l'élaboration de réponses adaptées.

    • Accompagner les enseignants vers un travail différencié en classe (personne ressource).

    • Aider les enseignants à concevoir et mettre en œuvre des modalités d’évaluation des acquis des élèves, tenant compte des compétences et difficultés des élèves à besoins particuliers.

    • Faciliter la socialisation des élèves dans l’école.

    • Accueillir, informer et recevoir les parents d’élèves (interlocuteur privilégié).

    • Assurer la continuité des parcours lors de l’entrée en 6ème pour éviter les ruptures de prise en charge.

    • Entretenir la liaison avec les professionnels extérieurs.

    • Utiliser les technologies de l'information et de la communication au service des apprentissages.

    COMPÉTENCES, EXPÉRIENCE ET FORMATION REQUISES

    • Titulaire de l’Éducation Nationale ou équivalent, de préférence

    • La certification complémentaire 2CA-SH, CAPPEI sera un atout supplémentaire.

    • Expérience dans l’enseignement adapté pour des enfants en situation de handicap

    • Expérience au secondaire, RASED, ULIS ou SEGPA requise

    • Connaissance du système éducatif français, et des dispositifs de prise en charge du handicap et des difficultés scolaires importantes et persistantes

    • Sens de l’organisation et du contact

    • Réactivité et disponibilité

    • Capacité d’adaptation et bienveillance

    • Très bonne expression écrite et orale

    • Forte capacité à travailler en équipe et à s’investir dans des projets

    • Maîtrise des outils numériques

    • Capacité à s’adapter à des élèves non francophones

    • Capacité à assurer un enseignement adapté à des élèves très divers

    • Capacité à travailler de manière transversale et pluridisciplinaire

    • Maîtrise de l’anglais (niveau B1 ou plus) souhaité

    CONDITIONS DE TRAVAIL

    • Poste à temps plein de 27h / semaine.

    • La rémunération basée sur le diplôme, l'expérience et la grille de salaire de l’IFS
