Lead Engineer (Full-Time)

Job descriptionDesign, build, and maintain backend services using Node.js + TypeScript. Oversee frontend application architecture and development using React + TypeScript. Ensure performance, reliability, and maintainability across all services. Own CI / CD pipeline, infrastructure patterns, observability, and deployment workflows. Work with product leads to define scope, priorities, and delivery milestones. Break down business requirements into clear engineering tasks. Communicate system decisions, risks, and timelines transparently. Champion automated testing, logging, alerting, and fault-tolerant design. Conduct thorough code reviews and guide team on architectural patterns. Proactively identify scaling issues and performance bottlenecks. 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience. Strong experience with Node.js (TypeScript) and PostgreSQL. Strong experience with React + TypeScript on the frontend. Solid understanding of AWS infrastructure (EC2 / ECS / EKS, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFront, S3). Experience with Terraform / Terragrunt for infrastructure as code. Able to lead architecture discussions, mentor engineers, and handle end-to-end execution. Prior experience with crypto / blockchain platforms (wallets, custody, chains, explorers, on / off ramps). Experience in financial systems, payments, or regulated environments. Strong understanding of security & encryption (KMS, Vault, HSM, key rotation). Experience with observability tooling (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, CloudWatch). Familiarity with event-driven or distributed system design.
