G MASS Consulting are looking for a Regulatory Reporting professional to join our Banking client in this highly exciting opportunity. You will be responsible for the daily regulatory reporting function, as well as involvement in process improvement projects.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day regulatory reporting to ensure all submissions are accurate, timely, and compliant with current standards.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve reporting issues and support remediation efforts.
- Prepare regular status updates (daily / weekly / monthly) on remediation progress and maintain accurate tracking of corrected trades.
- Escalate potential reporting risks or delays to senior management, ensuring swift resolution and minimal regulatory impact.
- Document operational processes and create / upkeep Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support consistency and compliance.
- Contribute to internal risk and control activities, including RCSA, EUC reviews, and incident reporting.
- Participate in system testing (UAT) and support regulatory reporting enhancements or transformation projects.
- Support audit processes by addressing regulatory findings and ensuring timely closure of audit actions.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in banking or financial services operations, with a strong focus on transaction and regulatory reporting.Knowledge of MAS and HKMA trade and transaction reporting frameworks is desired.Solid understanding of OTC derivatives, including FX, interest rate (linear and non-linear), credit, and equity derivatives.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly and escalate matters in a timely and effective manner.Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners.Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.Benefits
