Job Description
Compliance Leadership :
Lead the regional execution of the global compliance program.Support governance bodies and compliance-related meetings and initiatives.Promote a culture of ethics and integrity across the region.Provide ongoing advisory support to business leaders on compliance matters.Facilitate regional risk assessments and support mitigation planning.Draft and implement compliance-related policies and procedures.Manage privacy compliance, including acting as Data Protection Officer.Deliver training and internal communications on compliance topics.Support internal audits, monitoring activities, and investigations.Oversee third-party compliance processes, including risk assessments and site visits.Implement and track corrective actions for identified compliance issues.Legal Advisory :
Draft and negotiate commercial agreements across jurisdictions.Manage legal entity governance and corporate secretarial matters.Advise on dispute resolution and litigation strategy.Review marketing and product claims for legal compliance.Provide legal counsel on employment-related matters.Liaise with government authorities and respond to regulatory inquiries.Engage and manage external legal counsel as needed.Contribute to global legal initiatives and cross-functional projects.The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in law.Qualified in Singapore or other commonwealth jurisdictions.Advanced degrees (e.g., MBA) and specialized training in compliance or privacy preferred.Minimum 8 years of experience in legal or compliance roles within healthcare, life sciences, or related industries.Experience in internal audit, finance, or legal functions considered valuable.Prior exposure to the medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech sectors preferred.Proven ability to advise senior leaders and navigate complex legal and ethical challenges.What's on Offer
