Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Fellow to lead the development of catalytic combustion technology for gas turbine applications. The successful candidate will work on the design, optimization, and evaluation of advanced catalytic systems to enable cleaner, more efficient combustion processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct research on catalytic combustion mechanisms, catalyst design, and reactor engineering for gas turbine systems.
- Develop, fabricate, and test catalytic materials and prototypes under realistic operating conditions.
- Perform detailed data analysis, interpretation, and reporting of research outcomes.
- Publish high-quality research articles in leading journals and present at international conferences.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including combustion engineers, materials scientists, and industrial partners.
- Contribute to proposal writing and project reporting to funding agencies.
Qualifications
PhD in Chemical Engineering, Mecchanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.Proven research experience in catalytic combustion, with a strong publication track record in high-impact journals.Solid understanding of heterogeneous catalysis, combustion kinetics, and gas turbine operation.Experience with catalyst synthesis, characterization, and performance evaluation under high-temperature, high-pressure conditions.Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently.Strong teamwork skills and ability to work in a collaborative research environment.Excellent written and oral communication skillPreferred Qualifications :
Experience with in-situ / operando catalyst characterization techniques.Background in numerical simulation of combustion and reactive flows.Familiarity with industrial gas turbine systems and emission control technologies.Tell employers what skills you have
