Roles & Responsibilities

The Relief Teaching Assistant, reports directly to the Class Teacher and is responsible to assist Class Teachers with the teaching and supervision of students. She / He will also assist in resource preparation.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Carries out the Mission, Vision, Values and initiatives established by the school
• Improves and upkeeps the repute of the school by conducting oneself in a professional manner at all times in speech, action, appearance and demeanor
• Provide support to the teacher to ensure a safe and stimulating educational environment
• Assist the teacher in the preparation for daily activities by :

a. preparing lesson deliverables including worksheets, drawings and handouts,

b. preparing / developing / making various resources / teaching aids,

c. setting up the classroom and other appropriate facilities,

d. maintaining the cleanliness of the class.
