About the Role :
We are looking for a proactive and skilled Endpoint Security Engineer to safeguard our enterprise endpoints. In this role, you will lead vulnerability management, implement patching strategies, and harden systems against potential threats. You’ll collaborate closely with security and IT teams, troubleshoot complex endpoint issues, and drive initiatives that strengthen our overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead enterprise-wide vulnerability management initiatives, ensuring timely remediation and compliance with security standards.
- Deploy patches and remediation packages to minimize exposure to known threats.
- Optimize device configurations for efficient patching and precise targeting.
- Analyze security vulnerabilities and recommend tailored remediation strategies to reduce risk.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor remediation progress and generate reports to track compliance and effectiveness.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for endpoint security issues, including patch failures and system anomalies.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring vulnerabilities and implement long-term preventative solutions.
- Enhance endpoint hardening through configuration baselines and security controls.
- Automate software deployment processes to streamline delivery and reduce human error.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Proven experience in endpoint security management, with expertise in vulnerability management and patch deployment.Strong experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune.Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or VBA for automation.Familiarity with cloud environments, including Azure and AWS.Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards such as CIS benchmarks.Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and security.Active Directory administration and Group Policy management experience.Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred / Bonus Skills :
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Azure Fundamentals, Microsoft Certified : Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, Microsoft 365 Certified : Fundamentals, or ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity.Experience with Workspace One.Experience with ServiceNow dashboards and reporting.Knowledge of vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable.Experience with endpoint security solutions such as Carbon Black, Zscaler, or Ivanti Secure Access.Please send your detailed resume in MS Word format to resume@goldtecHRs.com with
