About the Role :
Brighton College (Singapore) is seeking an inspirational KS1 Classroom Teacher to start in August 2026. The core purpose of the KS1 Classroom Teacher is to deliver high-quality, engaging, and inclusive learning experiences that foster academic excellence, curiosity, and personal growth in every pupil. The teacher is responsible for creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment that reflects the school’s values and diverse community, while promoting global-mindedness and intercultural understanding. Through effective planning, assessment, and differentiation, the teacher ensures that all pupils make strong progress and develop the skills, confidence, and character needed to thrive both within and beyond the classroom. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to shape the early learning journey of Brighton College (Singapore) pupils. The successful candidate will lead creative and dynamic lessons, integrate cross-curricular themes, and provide enriching opportunities that reflect the College’s commitment to excellence and holistic education. Acting as a champion for early years learning, the KS1 Classroom Teacher will ensure that every child experiences a vibrant and supportive environment that nurtures curiosity and independence. This role is central to building strong foundations for lifelong learning and supporting pupils in achieving their full potential. Reporting to the Head of Key Stage, the KS1 Classroom Teacher will collaborate across departments, engage with parents, and manage resources effectively. They will bring strong subject knowledge, creativity, and a proven ability to inspire young learners in a fast-paced, international school environment. As with all Brighton College roles, the successful candidate will share our aim of developing well-educated, respectful, and curious young men and women ready to take a full, active, and positive role in the world.
