Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our growing F&B business. The successful candidate will lead the Accounts team in managing full sets of accounts, ensuring timely and accurate reporting, and driving financial efficiency across all outlets and business units.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Management
Oversee and manage the Accounts team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across AR, AP, and general accounting functions.
Recruit, train, and develop finance staff to maintain high performance and professionalism.
Establish clear objectives and frameworks for the Finance Department to support business growth.
Financial Planning & Analysis
Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
Analyse costs, pricing, sales results, and variances against business plans to support decision-making.
Identify and implement cost-reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities.
Develop and implement KPI tracking, P&L performance, and outlet reporting systems.
Financial Reporting & Compliance
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to Directors and key stakeholders.
Oversee all statutory filings and compliance matters including IRAS, ACRA, and external audits.
Liaise with Corporate Secretaries, auditors, and landlords on all finance-related matters.
Systems & Process Improvement
Review existing financial systems and processes; propose and implement enhancements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Develop and implement inventory tracking and internal transfer systems.
Streamline revenue and accounting systems across business units and digital platforms.
Review banking and administrative processes to reduce costs and improve productivity.
Business Partnership
Work closely with Operations and Department Managers to ensure financial systems support operational needs.
Provide timely insights and recommendations to management on business performance and financial health.
Support the setup and integration of new business entities or ventures under centralised finance administration.
Requirements :
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred.
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role .
Prior experience in the F&B, retail, or hospitality industry is highly advantageous.
