Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 / 3 support for enterprise applications built on J2EE / JEE platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through log analysis, code tracing, and database query debugging.
• Monitor application health, performance, and availability to ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Handle incident management, problem management, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
• Develop and optimize SQL / PLSQL queries, with a focus on database performance tuning (Oracle preferred).
• Support and maintain web service integrations (REST, SOAP) across business-critical applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to deploy hotfixes, patches, and releases.
• Document solutions, runbooks, and known issues to build a knowledge base for reuse.
• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain 24 / 7 application availability.
• Work closely with business users and cross-functional teams to resolve functional and technical issues promptly.
