Roles & Responsibilities

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Consultant to strengthen the overall commercial performance of the different business units under Laguna Hotel Holdings Pte Ltd. This role will focus on analyzing revenue streams, optimizing operational efficiency, and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of all existing revenue streams to identify strengths, weaknesses, and untapped opportunities. Develop strategies for diversification, pricing optimization, and cross-selling to maximize revenue potential.
  • Lead feasibility analysis and prepare business cases for new initiatives, facilities, products, and services. Evaluate market demand, competitor benchmarks, and investment returns to support informed decision-making.
  • Partner with ownership and senior leadership to design, articulate, and implement medium- to long-term strategies that align with overall business objectives.
  • Review business processes across units to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks. Recommend and implement workflow improvements and performance frameworks to drive productivity and accountability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor performance, and customer expectations to provide timely insights and strategic recommendations. Advise on positioning, differentiation, and brand competitiveness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management and stakeholders by presenting clear analyses, strategic options, and action plans.
  • Support integration of governance best practices, ESG considerations, and sustainability initiatives into business operations and reporting to strengthen brand reputation and long-term resilience.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in leading a business, preferably in hotel, resort, leisure, lifestyle, or membership-driven businesses.
  • Proven track record in driving performance improvements across multiple business lines.
  • Strong financial acumen with expertise in modeling, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic insights into practical, results-oriented solutions.
  • Familiarity with sustainability practices, ESG integration, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong professional network with industry partners, investors, and advisors.
