SUMMARY

As a Senior firmware engineer you will be responsible for the development of the firmware running on network products. You will also be responsible to maintain the existing firmware with bug fixes and adding features to the software.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Developing source code targeting the embedded system.
Support our sensing and telemetry platform for applications.
Ensure proper development of new feature requests to firmware.
Engage in maintenance and bug fixes to existing firmware
Remotely support field deployment and maintenance activities (i.e. debugging, upgrading, reconfiguring) across our global deployment footprint.
Writing and maintaining hardware / firmware documentation.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Experience in developing embedded systems with excellent C programming

Experience in working with 16 / 32 Micro-controllers like STM, TI, and Arm Controllers.

Good knowledge on real time operating system (RTOS).

Experience in communication protocols like I2C, SPI, Modbus and UART etc.

Experience with lab tools : Logic Analyzers, oscilloscopes, JTAG / ICE debuggers and protocol analyzers

Familiarity with Telit / ublox AT commands.

Experience in IAR and Keil uvision IDEs.

Collaboration tools : confluence, JIRA, bitbucket / git, slack

Expertise in bootloader and OTA.

Good knowledge of M2M / IOT Protocols like HTTPS, MQTT and LW-M2M

Good interpersonal communication skills and experience in working with global teams.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
