Lead Marine Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in marine / civil engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in major marine projects, preferably LNG & oil / gas projects.
• Must have minimum 5 years in similar lead role in major marine projects.
• Fully familiar with Singapore codes and international codes, standards, and recommended practices to be adopted during EPC phases of LNG & Oil / gas projects.
• Demonstratable experience in brownfield project development, including delivery of existing structures condition assessment and demolition design.
• In-depth knowledge of mooring and fender system designs in accordance with industry practices, including familiarity with latest industry guidelines.
• In-depth knowledge of marine engineering, marine structural, and geotechnical engineering.
• Must have the capacity to supervise, manage and deliver the development of marine / civil engineering deliverables, including relevant stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with navigational aid design and delivery.
• Experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory.
• Local Singaporeans and PRs are desirable
• For foreign candidates : must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience.

Location : Ubi / Jurong Port

Salary : $7,000- $8,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
