Roles & Responsibilities

IT Executive | Up to $4k | Infrastructure & Server System Exp | Exp in Manufacturing Industry | Admiralty

Working hour : 8am to 5.45pm Mon to Fri

Working Salary : $3,500 to $4,500 (Depends on Exp)

Working Location : Admiralty

Job Scope :

1. IT Infrastructure Support

Maintain and troubleshoot hardware (PCs, printers, barcode scanners, etc.)
Support network infrastructure : LAN / WAN, switches, routers, Wi-Fi
Ensure servers and data storage are running smoothly (file servers, domain controllers)

2. System Administration

Manage user accounts , email, Active Directory, file permissions

Monitor IT security (antivirus, firewalls, data protection policies)

Perform regular backups and ensure disaster recovery plans are in place

3. Manufacturing / Production System Support

Provide technical support for MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) , ERP, or factory-specific systems

Troubleshoot machine-PC communication issues (e.g., PLCs, IoT devices)

Ensure system uptime to minimize production downtime

4. Software & Application Support

Install, configure, and maintain standard and custom software

Provide technical support to end-users

Liaise with software vendors for updates, bugs, or new implementations

5. IT Policies and Compliance

Implement and enforce IT policies , data protection, and access control

Support ISO / IEC 27001 or other relevant compliance needs if applicable

6. User Support & Training

Act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues

Provide training or guidance to staff on using systems or software

7. Reporting & Documentation

Maintain IT asset inventory

Prepare incident reports , maintenance logs, and update manuals

Support audits and provide technical documentation

Requirement

Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

1–3 years of experience in IT support, networking, or systems administration

Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is a plus

Knowledge of : Windows OS (client & server)

Network support (LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, routers, switches, Wi-Fi)

PC setup and troubleshooting

Basic server administration (Active Directory, file sharing, backup)

IT security (antivirus, firewalls, user access control)

Familiarity with : ERP / MES systems

Printers, scanners, barcode systems

Willing to learn and adapt to new systems or factory technologies

Willing to do on-site support in production areas

May require after-hours or weekend support during downtime or system issues
