Job Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations on the menu, including our specialty dishes and drinks
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and in accordance with restaurant standards
- Ensure all guest needs are met promptly and with care, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of food and beverages
- Assist with setting and clearing tables, ensuring the dining area is clean, organized, and inviting
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a courteous and professional manner
- Process customer payments accurately using POS (point-of-sale) systems
- Ensure that the restaurant is fully stocked with necessary supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Any Ad-Hoc Duties that may be assigned by the Manager
Job Requirements
Previous experience in a customer service or restaurant setting preferred, but not requiredPassion for Japanese cuisine and culture is a plusKnowledge of Japanese food and drink (sake, tea, sushi) is an advantageExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and a professional appearanceAbility to multitask and handle stressful situations with graceWillingness to learn and grow in a hospitality-focused environmentRequired to work weekends, and holidaysOther Information
