What you will be doing.
As our Senior Surveyor, you will be responsible for supporting the Oil and Gas Industry within the Offshore Business Line. Perform marine surveying duties, including but not limited to any marine warranty services, including tow approvals, dry transports, rig moves, and general consultancy. Manage related projects throughout the region using professional experience and basic principles.
- To familiarise with all aspects of ABL Maritime services and key deliverables.
- Carry out technical marine surveys such as but not limited to single voyage, vessel condition survey, ROB, on / off-hire, and other industry standard surveys and audits as qualified.
- Participate in technical and procedural reviews covering marine and offshore projects to assess their feasibility and compliance with industry standards and attend subsequent site visits.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals for bids and tenders.
- Assist and / or lead projects, as assigned, to deliver optimum solutions to customers within the timeframe, costs and quality standards established internally and by the client.
- Maintain and develop new and existing clients through appropriate propositions and relevant liaison to optimise.
- Quality of service, business growth and client satisfaction
- To QA deliverables and ensure quality.
- Maintain own level of billable utilisation above 60%.
- And other duties as assigned.

The role is based in Singapore. The candidate must have the right to live and work in Singapore. Willingness to travel (including offshore) and work within a variety of time zones.
What we are looking for.
Master Mariner (STCW class 1) or equivalent with significant survey / Maritime consultancy related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least 5 years relevant experience within the Maritime Surveying and consultancy industryBroad exposure to marine consultancy, including warranty, consulting, inspection, surveys, audits, and project management.Proven track record of hands-on Jack-up rig move (platform to platform, open locations and within port), Tow Master and MWSGood decision-making capability with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus.Accurate reporting and the ability to deliver high-quality work on time.Good communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership ability and be able to deal effectively with multiple issues and assignments simultaneously.Assertive and buoyant, forward-thinking with high ethical standards and appropriate professional image.Well-organized and self-directed individual with strong business / commercial skills.Outgoing and pragmatic with strength of character, proactive and insightful with good man management skills.Team player with excellent communication skills.What is in it for you?
