About the Role
We are seeking a caring and responsible Physiotherapist Aide to support our rehabilitation team in helping elderly residents improve mobility and recovery. You will assist in therapy sessions, guide exercises, ensure safety, and maintain therapy records and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in individual and group therapy sessions under the supervision of the Director of Nursing.
- Support residents with ambulation, range-of-motion, and strengthening exercises.
- Help residents use physiotherapy equipment safely (e.g. parallel bars, pedal exercisers).
- Observe residents’ progress and report any changes in condition.
- Maintain therapy equipment and ensure a safe, tidy environment.
- Record therapy sessions and assist in progress reviews and reports.
- Work closely with nurses and care staff to deliver coordinated rehabilitation.
- Support administrative tasks and monitor therapy supplies.
- Follow all safety and MOH compliance procedures.
Requirements
Diploma or Certificate in Nursing, Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, or related field (preferred).Experience in eldercare or rehabilitation is an advantage.Good communication and teamwork skills.Patient, empathetic, and physically fit to assist residents in therapy.Tell employers what skills you have
