Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description & Requirements

• Experience in designing of IP / MPLS core network
• Expertise in Managing Network and Routers using NMS.
• Expertise in Managing various service provider network and live network troubleshooting.
• Expertise in IP routing protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, RIP) and most of the Layer 2
• Fulfilling of network (routing & switching, DNS, static IP, etc) service request(s) following
• the Change Management procedure.
• Create and maintain documentations of network configuration, network diagram, mapping,
• Processes and service records.
• Manage, track and assessment all of principal advisories on patches on vulnerability
• and firmware upgrades.
• Planning and applying of devices security patches and firmware upgrades.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Institute
• Fully support, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer’s networks and in house servers
• Install and integrate new server hardware and applications
• Keep an eye out for needed updates
• Support and administer third-party applications
• Ensure network security and connectivity
• Monitor network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, good put, and latency) and test for weaknesses
• Set up user accounts, permissions and passwords
• Resolve problems reported by end user
• Define network policies and procedures
• Specify system requirements and design solutions
• Research and make recommendations on server system administration
