This is a perm hire role for one of our private banking clients

Job Scope
The Investment Strategist will work closely with Relationship Managers (RMs) in formulating investment strategies and portfolio solutions to private banking clients.

Job Description

• Provide investment advisory to Private Banking clients.
• Formulate investment strategies aligned to clients’ objective and risk profile.
• Partner Relationship Managers on client meetings to relate house views, articulate
• investment ideas, create investment proposals and conduct portfolio reviews.
• Initiate product idea generation as subject matter expert and keep breast of
• developments in the market.
• Always ensure adherence to internal/external regulations and policies
• Carry out any other duties as directed by Company Management

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree graduate either in Finance, Business, Economics or Banking
• At least 5 years in financial industry in an investment advisory or related position
• Strong knowledge of investment markets , products and strategies, including equities, fixed income, alternatives and currencies
• Proficient communication, organization, presentation and data analysis skills
• CACS certification is required.
• Prior experience in Private Banking preferably in an investment advisory position is preferred.
