Roles & Responsibilities
We’re seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager to grow our hostel brand across key markets. You’ll be responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving occupancy through innovative sales and marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion : Identify and evaluate new markets for hostel expansion and partnerships.
- Partnership Development : Build relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, universities, and corporate clients.
- Sales Strategy : Develop and execute sales plans to increase bookings and revenue.
- Performance Tracking : Monitor KPIs including occupancy rates, revenue per bed, and customer acquisition costs.
- Marketing Collaboration : Work with the marketing team to launch campaigns targeting backpackers, students, and digital nomads.
- Event & Community Engagement : Organize hostel events and local experiences to boost guest satisfaction and word-of-mouth referrals.
- Competitor Analysis : Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field.5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or hospitality.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Familiarity with hostel culture and the backpacker / travel community.Proficiency in CRM tools and data analysis.Self-starter with a passion for travel and community building.Tell employers what skills you have
