Role Title : Execution Trader

Department : Rates

Office location : Singapore

Overview of the team / department :

The Execution Trader role provides an opportunity to work closely with Portfolio Managers with years of experience and interact directly with market makers and salespeople.

Role requirements :

Booking deals and monitoring positions within Fixed Income
Executing and risk managing trades for Portfolio Managers
Trade structuring
Liaising between the trading desk and support functions
Ensuring integrity of positions held in front office tools
Support for Portfolio Managers
Managing projects that improve desk efficiency as they arise
Pricing and administering unwinds and novation protocol
Doing quantitative work to build tools to improve trading on the desk

Experience required :

The candidate should have trading experience in front office on sell or buy side and good understanding of a wide range of products across DM rates. The ability to think on your feet and the organization skills to prioritize and manage several tasks simultaneously are essential.

You will require an excellent eye for detail and thoroughness in checks and processes. The candidate should also have a degree from a reputable university in Finance, Economics, Business, or a demonstrated interest in investment products.

While the desk will provide guidance, the role requires someone who can perform independently and take on increased responsibilities over time.
