Job
Description
Lead
and deliver in-depth research and analysis on clients, markets,
competitors, and sectors to support business development and
strategy.
Partner with senior stakeholders,
including partners and BD leaders, to scope, manage, and deliver
high-impact research projects.
Produce clear,
engaging reports and presentations that highlight opportunities,
risks, and market trends in a decision-ready format.
Input into external thought leadership, helping to shape
content that resonates with clients and differentiates the firm in
the market.
Evaluate and optimise the use of
research tools, databases, and third-party providers, ensuring the
business has access to best-in-class resources.
Mentor colleagues and contribute to the ongoing
development of the research function
globally.
The Successful
Applicant
At
least 5 years' experience in search, market intelligence, or data
analysis, ideally gained in professional services, consulting,
financial services, or a related industry.
Possesses excellent analytical and writing skills, with
the ability to distil complex data into actionable
insights.
Commercially minded, with strong
knowledge of financial products, databases (e.g. Capital IQ,
Pitchbook, FactSet, AlphaSense), and sector trends.
Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and building
credibility as a trusted advisor.
Proactive,
resourceful, and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple
projects and deadlines independently.
Strategic thinker with the curiosity to surface
opportunities and challenge established thinking
constructively.
