Senior Systems Analyst - IT BA / PM (TES)
Position Overview
The Business Analyst develops and designs system / data product solutions with the purpose of improving business efficiency and productivity. The role initiates the study and research of client business processes and requirements, information technology requirements, procedures, or problems according to business needs. The feasibility of new systems and / or enhancements to existing systems is analyzed. Possessing an analytical mind, the Business Analyst is able to see interconnections with system solutions and usability. A systematic approach is adopted in handling ambiguous or complex issues, and perspectives are actively discussed to arrive at effective solutions.
Role & Responsibilities
- Business Analysis Planning & Strategy
Plan the business analysis approach by selecting methods, techniques, and tools
Collaborate with the PM and BA Lead to set goals, timelines, and deliverablesSupport governance for tracking status, risks, changes, and issues. Assist in stakeholder engagement planning, including roles and decision-making authorityDefine communication plans, requirements acceptance, evaluation criteria, and system scope and objectivesRequirements Analysis & DesignEngage with senior stakeholders to understand business needs
Lead information gathering on systems / data productsAnalyze current state and gaps to identify improvementsExamine system interactions and performanceConduct detailed analysis of requirements and feasibilitySupport business case development highlighting benefits, solutions, and risksDefine process and system opportunities and constraintsEstablish requirements for process changesIdentify enhancement opportunities and assist in solution proposalsDocument business requirements and translate them into system specificationsRequirements Lifecycle ManagementDocument relationships between requirements, design, and solutions using a Requirements Traceability Matrix
Balance stakeholder priorities to maximize business valuePrioritize and obtain approval for requirements and designsEvaluate changes and communicate impacts on scope, budget, and timeline. Align with stakeholders on change requestsMonitor requirements implementation throughout the project lifecycle with development and testing teamsValidate solution alignment with business needs and anticipate integration risksSupport change management by developing training plans and materials, conducting user training, and ensuring adoptionPrepare and coordinate test plans to ensure requirements are fully tested and meet desired outcomesSolution EvaluationSupport the feasibility study of design options including solution limitations
Identify alternative solutions and assess feasibilityConduct analysis on the risk vs. benefits for the proposed solutionsContribute to the efforts to increase viability of solutionsRecommend solution maximising business value for the future stateObtain support on the recommended solution from stakeholdersRequirements
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalentMinimum 5 years of experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systemsSuccessful track record in handling multiple projects with good knowledge of requirements gathering and documentation techniquesExperience in MS Windows environment & application supportStrong analytical skills and ability to work independentlyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStakeholder management and facilitation experienceProcess mapping and improvement expertiseRisk assessment and mitigation skills is an added advantageExperience in healthcare industry is an added advantageAgile or Scrum certificationsApply Now
