Job descriptionMinimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. Experience in a shopping mall or retail environment is a plus. Demonstrates strong troubleshooting skills for minor repairs and technical faults. Capable of working under tight timelines, resourceful, and systematic in problem-solving. Shift work required from Monday to Friday (8 am to 5 pm or 2 pm to 11 pm) with alternating half-day on Saturdays.
Roles & Responsibilities
The ideal candidate responsibility will be to supervise the overall maintenance and handle minor repairs of equipment and facilities within the mall. Work closely with colleagues from various departments, including customer services, to ensure a seamless operation for the mall's tenants.
JOBS DESCRIPTION
- Maintain and ensure the good physical condition of the mall, including lighting, air conditioning, ventilation, and electrical power.
- Conduct general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, air-conditioning, electrical switches, and equipment repairs.
- Implement routine preventive maintenance programs.
- Inspect machinery and equipment, reporting any security or asset irregularities.
- Respond promptly to tenants' requests to deliver quality service.
- Follow safety procedures and emergency response plans.
- Supervise contractors and oversee maintenance and renovation work in the mall.
- Perform other assigned tasks as directed by the supervisor / management.
